The TARGET Manager tool is available in the HIL/FVT module.

The hardware target runs in real-time the code automatically generated by the EICASLAB suite and commands the real plant. The EicasLab RCP platform can be suitable connected to the target to run as host PC that works as monitoring system. The overall trial is managed through the TARGET Manager tool running on the EicasLab RCP platform. During the execution on the target, data can be visualized on the TARGET Manager GUI and they can also be recorded on the disk for a further post processing analysis.

For performing Final Validation Test activity the user switches the EicasLab project to Final Validation Test operative sub-mode. The first time the switch is done the System Layout of SIMBUILDER provides – as a default – the scenario shown in figure suitable for performing the Final Validation Test activity.

In such a configuration the control application works in real-time in the Hardware Target, which is directly connected to the real plant. If needed, the EicasLab RCP Platform can be connected to the target to work as host computer/supervisor, by providing trial management, data recording and system monitoring capabilities, as well as to operate as control mission.

In Final Validation Test operative sub-mode the Assisted Compiling Process, run by the user through the MASTER tool, automatically generates the real-time code for performing the Final Validation Test activity by calling:

The TARGET Manager tool allows to manage the overall Final Validation Test process, to verify in real-time the control performance thanks to the direct feedback provided by the Target Manager GUI and to record the trial results for further post-processing analysis.
